Accessbility

The Thoma Lifter gives you independence. It allows you to move between the floors of your home without assistance. If you are building a new home, you can plan for the Thoma Lifter right from the start. Existing buildings can be retrofitted with it relatively easily, both indoors and outdoors. This means you can remain mobile in your own home in the future.

The Thoma Lifter gives wheelchair users and other physically impaired people freedom of movement and independence within their own four walls. The Q 1.5 model is specially designed for the needs of people who are dependent on a wheelchair. The spacious cabin allows the wheelchair to turn on its own axis, which makes getting in and out much easier. The frequency control guarantees ideal stopping accuracy on each floor.

The Q 1.5 model has external dimensions of 1.5 x 1.5 metres and a maximum platform size of 1.37 x 1.37 metres. This provides you and an accompanying person with ample space and sufficient freedom of movement to turn around, whether in a wheelchair or with a walking aid.

The Q 1.7 model is even more spacious, a full-fledged lift with a cabin measuring 1.44 x 1.44 metres.

Under certain conditions, it is possible to apply for funding for the retrofitting of a lift. Funding programmes for this have been set up by KfW, among others. We recommend that our customers find out more about this.

The platform dimensions of the Thoma Lifter Q 1.5 comply with the EN 81–70 standard for wheelchair users with a wheelchair in accordance with EN 12183 or a class A electric wheelchair in accordance with EN 12184.
The Thoma Lifter Q 1.7 also offers space for one person in a wheelchair and one accompanying person.
