Easy retrofitting with Thoma Lifter

Our innovative Thoma Lifter, protected by numerous patents,
is particularly suitable for retrofitting private homes.

Thoma Lifter

Both the Q 1.2 and Q 1.5 platform lifts without cabin doors and the compact Q 1.7 standard lift are supplied as complete units with a glazed aluminium shaft frame and can be easily installed on exterior facades or indoors.

robust drive system

Their robust drive system, consisting of an electric motor and high-quality toothed belts, is energy-efficient and low-maintenance, guaranteeing a long service life. This drive ensures that, unlike hydraulic lifts, the Thoma Lifter is not susceptible to malfunction even in extreme outdoor temperatures.

compact design

Another advantage is the compact design’s low space requirement, with up to 76 per cent of the total floor space taken up by the platform, which is accessible from all four sides if required.

simple planning

Finally, simple planning and short installation times of usually two to three days make our Q‑series an uncomplicated and quick solution for many areas, with many individual design options.

Made in Germany

All models in the Q series are manufactured in Germany, but together with our partners, we install the Thoma Lifter in almost all European countries.

A lift with many advantages

  • Aluminium shaft frame for indoor and outdoor use
  • No shaft required on site
  • Optimal use of space – up to 76 per cent of the floor space can be used for the platform
  • Compact design thanks to diagonal guides and drive technology in the corners of the frame
  • Access on all four sides
  • Minimal dimensions for shaft pit and shaft head
  • Customised equipment for cabin and shaft frame
  • Solid drive system consisting of electric motor and high-quality toothed belts
  • Long service life, energy-saving and low-maintenance
  • Reliable operation even at extreme outside temperatures, where hydraulic drives, for example, are prone to failure
  • Simple planning and short installation times

Access from all sides

The square basic concept with access options on all four sides fits into any floor plan, making planning easier – both for new buildings and for retrofitting in and on existing buildings.

Individual design – from subtle to extravagant

Thanks to the many design options available, the Thoma Lifter can be perfectly adapted to your living environment. Whether discreet or extravagant, this stylish home lift will become a jewel in your home and increase the value of your property.

Thoma’s Q series is an innovative lift concept that is primarily tailored to the private sector, especially for residential buildings with two to three floors and a maximum lifting height of 15 metres. In addition, the Q 1.2 and Q 1.5 platform lifts and the Q 1.7 compact lift can also be used in public areas, for example, where only a very small floor space is available. Even with heavy use, the Thoma lifter performs reliably thanks to its robust drive system.
